ARTI is a U.S. environmental technology company that designs and supplies modular pyrolysis systems for waste-to-energy and resource recovery. The process thermally converts carbon-based feedstocks in an oxygen-limited environment into syngas, liquid hydrocarbons, and carbon-rich char — without relying on open combustion as the primary conversion step.

Modules are offered at 25, 50, and 100 tons per day, so capacity can be matched to feedstock and expanded in phases. Compatible streams include plastics, municipal solid waste, biomass, wood waste, agricultural residues, tires, and other carbon-based materials. Prepared feed is dried and densified so the reactor sees a consistent, handleable material — which is why Vecoplan size reduction sits in front of the ARTI unit on a DarkStar plant.

Outputs are project-specific: cleaned syngas for process heat or power, condensable liquids where the temperature profile favors them, and carbon char or carbon black. Gas is treated through particle wash, condensation, and storage before use. ARTI positions the platform for dispatchable energy that is not weather-dependent, and for landfill diversion with a documented emissions-control path.

DarkStar represents ARTI as the conversion core of the plant. We match reactor size and configuration to feedstock and offtake, then wrap it with permitting, site work, Vecoplan front-end handling, and construction so the unit is a commissioned facility — not a skid on a pad.
